Visit The Temple Bar

We were shocked to walk in (just before Halloween/Samhain) and see the place already decked out for Christmas. Had a drink to say we did, not as expensive as people say, listened to the live music for a bit then left! Definitely busy but worth it for the atmosphere! Friendly Staff!

Probably the most famous bar in Dublin and also on temple bar street. The atmosphere here is infectious, there is always someone playing some live music and the vibes wrre fantastic. Prices are definitely slightly higher than usual but I think for the environment, it is well worth it to come here at least once.

During my visit in October, this was one of the most enjoyable bars I went to, beautifully decorated with a Christmas theme. The white-haired singer performing on stage was an incredibly talented artist who took the bar’s atmosphere to another level. When we went, it was absolutely packed we had a hard time getting inside, but that didn’t stop us. While ordering a pint at the bar, I met two Irish guys who bet me that I couldn’t drink my Guinness all the way down to the logo in one go and of course, I couldn’t manage it 😅 The Guinness was excellent though, and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone who hasn’t tried it yet 🍻

If you’ve been to Dublin and haven’t visited Temple Bar, you’ve truly missed something special. It’s an incredibly atmospheric place with live music, a warm and lively vibe, and that unique Irish charm.

Inside, it feels cozy and welcoming, even though it’s often packed with people. It’s the perfect spot to relax, enjoy a pint, and just soak up the spirit of Dublin. A must-visit for anyone coming to the city!

It's loud, it's packed, and yes, the pints are famously expensive, but you simply *must* go once, just to say you've done it!

This place runs on charisma, traditional music, and sheer volume. The music is almost constant, the crowd is global, and the atmosphere is electric. It is a spectacle of Irish culture (as interpreted for a worldwide audience!) and an absolutely brilliant spot for people-watching and soaking up the chaotic charm of the area it is named after.

The sheer volume of red paint and old whiskey bottles might make it feel like a themed museum, but the warmth of the traditional music and the sheer joy of the crowd keep it alive. Grab a pricey pint, fight your way to a spot, and let the session wash over you. It's a rite of passage! You'll leave feeling a bit poorer but undeniably happier. It’s a five-star experience in madness, and sometimes, that’s exactly what the soul needs.
