It’s January and you know what that means!
It’s time for Temple Bar TradFest 2023. Are you ready?
If you’re not sure what Temple Bar Tradfest is all about, you’re in for a treat. It’s the week-long annual festival of Irish music, reaching both Irish and international enthusiasts who want to soak up the unique flavour of Ireland’s musical heritage.
Traditional and folk musicians gather en masse, with some of the best-known and favourite performers on stage, as well as some to keep your eye on in the future. It’s no secret that a fair few artists get their breaks at TradFest.
Temple Bar, Dublin’s cultural heart is at the centre of it all, but things are happening across the city even for the kiddies if you’re bringing the littles along. They’ll enjoy the arts and crafts at The Ark, for instance.
But music, and lots of it, is the reason for the season.
At The Temple Bar Pub, we’re ready. We’ve got a rousing, entertaining and thoroughly foot-tapping week with some of the best trad and folk music around.
Running between Monday 23rd January and Sunday 29th, we’ve at least four sessions each day, with extras on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
Who’s playing? Well, we’ve got Paddy Casey, The Colonials, Drops of Green and the Kilkennys, to name but a few. You won’t want to miss any of them.
We invite you to join us in The Temple Bar Pub for a dram or a pint of Guinness while you soak up some real Irish music-making. We guarantee it’ll get you feeling at least a little bit Irish, even if it’s your first time visiting.
Don’t let Temple Bar Tradfest 23 pass you by, whatever you do. It’s shaping up to be the best festival yet and is definitely the place to be in January. To find out more about Tradfest Templebar 2023 check out their website here.
We look forward to seeing you for a foot-stomping good time!
